SU-6: Active J-FET Head Amp +20dB Moving Coil SUT Step-Up for LOMC with Variable Loading
The SU-6 featuring 20dB of gain with four user-adjustable resistive loading options. It has eight current-matched low-noise high-transconductance Pure J-FETs in its input stage, operating in a single-ended mode (no Differential FET operation), paired with an extremely high-dynamic-range output stage. It has user-adjustable loading, offering exceptionally high headroom with a low and monotonic distortion residual.
The fully-discrete low-feedback audio path is coupled to a sophisticated power supply featuring sextuple regulation, including two discrete final stages which provide dynamics and immersive soundstaging while retaining a low noise floor. The SU-6 is optimally paired with our MM-6 +40dB RIAA preamp for a complete LOMC solution.
